wood sculpture – Self Analysis

This Wood Sculpture presents a challenge. Just as a mirror reflects a physical image of yourself for your critical examination, so does the mind allow for critical analysis for one’s self-improvement.  It could be described as character grooming. If used wisely and frequently and if the necessary adjustments are made improvements should be realized.  The two elements in this wood sculpture are reactively doing just that. This is an ongoing process since once an adjustment is made, the reflection changes, which in turn requires a new analysis which is then followed by yet more adjustments.  It is a continuing process for an individual’s betterment. Before we embark on an examination of the world around us, we must first take an in-depth examination of ourselves.
