Whether good or bad in experience, returning from an astronomical event in one’s life can be catastrophic. Even euphoria has its downside such as when a beautiful relationship goes sour.  With this sculpture, I have portrayed this emotional descent visually as catastrophic and having the same devastating consequences that occur to a satellite upon its reentry into Earth’s atmosphere.
