Keying off the construct of continuity exhibited by the Mobius, for this wood sculpture I drew on the figure supplied by the wood and combined it with the “well-aged” appearance of the wood selected for this piece. The result is a marriage of what the wood says and what I want to say. The result is a harmonious declaration to the renewal of life in saying nothing ever goes away it just sometimes looks that way.
