This figure works very well as a chainsaw carving.
It's one of the few inanimate subjects I do by any carving method. But I don't know of any other singular object that can conjure up the feeling of the old West better than this. It's practically an icon. The texture provided by the chainsaw along with the slightly singed surface work together to enhance the rugged impression. The interior of the boot is hollowed out almost down to the ankle. Completely sealed and finished.
