I have done many versions of Don Quixote but this is the first to include his companion Sancho Panza. This was all
carved from the same piece of wood including the base. The sculpture has been deeply textured to enhance the drama of the two. Sancho stands dutifully by as Don
strikes the flamboyant pose of the champion.
